Endowment Fund

Trinity has an active and meaningful Endowment Fund that provides financial support for outreach ministry and mission, as well as supporting the upkeep of our buildings.

The Fund was established in 1994 as a repository for legacies, gifts, contributions, and donations to help with Christian initiatives not ordinarily supported by the operating funds of the parish.

Our Endowment Fund is a charitable trust that requires the capital to be held in perpetuity. Earnings from the capital are disbursed once a year.

The Endowment Fund has enabled Trinity to provide support to numerous outreach initiatives, charities, national, and international organizations. 

In 2025, the Fund disbursed a total of $30,000. Financial support was extended to The ABLE Network, Abuse Hurts, Aurora Food Pantry, CAYR, CNIB, FNMI outreach, Gran Aurora, and Welcoming Arms, in addition to contributing towards flood remediation work in Trinity’s courtyard.

Opportunities to support the Endowment Fund include:

• a gift of cash to Trinity, designated for Endowment. This is often offered in remembrance of a loved one, and a tax receipt for the full amount is given; 

• a gift of stocks or securities. With the transfer of ownership of publicly traded stocks or securities, Trinity can provide the donor with a tax receipt; 

• naming the Endowment Fund in your will;

• transferring ownership of a new or existing life insurance policy to the Endowment Fund, or making Trinity's Endowment Fund the beneficiary of the policy.
