A Trinity Anglican Church has stood on this site since 1846.
The current one, built in 1884 in the Gothic revival style, features stained-glass windows, stenciled walls and ornate dormers. A new sanctuary was added in 2001.
As Aurora’s finest example of Gothic church architecture, it blends historical charm with modern touches.

Step Back in Time at Trinity’s Historic Chapel
This year, Trinity is delighted to open our doors as part of Doors Open Aurora, inviting you to step inside our beautiful Historic Chapel and discover the stories it holds. From its 19th-century architecture to the vibrant ministry that continues today, our church is a place where history and community meet.
Experience Worship as it Once Was
At 11:15 AM, join us for a special Historic Worship Service — a unique opportunity to experience church as it would have been in the 1880s, when our building first welcomed worshippers. The words, music, and atmosphere will transport you to another era.
Ring the Bell, Hear the Organ
Every hour at 1 PM, 2 PM, and 3 PM, you’ll have the chance to ring the church bell located in the bell tower yourself — a joyful sound that has called generations to gather.
Then, at 1:15 PM, 2:15 PM, and 3:15 PM, settle into the main church for a 15-minute organ recital, filling the space with music that stirs the soul.
