In this short book, Henri Nouwen invites the reader to contemplate four Eastern Orthodox icons. The four Russian icons chosen by Nouwen are the icon of the Holy Trinity, the icon of the Virgin of Vladimir, the icon of the Savior of Zvenigorod, and the icon of the Descent of the Holy Spirit.

 

This classic work is a perfect devotional aid for deepening our contemplation of God on our annual Lenten pilgrimage.

 

You are invited to read the book individually and contemplate on your own, join our weekly study group, or engage with the reflections offered by the clergy in their Sunday sermons.
