Parking
Our parking lot behind the church has space for 50 vehicles. Please enter off
Metcalfe and exit onto Victoria. As this is easily filled on Sunday mornings,
overflow should use street parking.
There is usually ample parking around the town park, just a short walk to the
east along Metcalfe Street and on Sunday morning, you may also use the library
parking lot on the north side of Church Street between Yonge Street and Victoria
Street.

Welcome
You can enter by either the front or back doors of the church where you'll be
welcomed by our greeters and sidespeople. They will be pleased to answer any
questions or concerns you may have and can direct or take you to the nursery or
church school if you need these.
Worship Services
On Sunday we offer three worship services.
- At 8:00am there is a quiet and intimate service of Holy Communion in the
chapel using the classic Book of Common Prayer (no music). This service is not
ideal for young children as we do not offer nursery or church school at this
time. There is time after the service for a cup of coffee and fellowship.
- The two main services of the day are normally at 9:15am and 11:00am.
Neither one is specifically a "family" service, and children are welcome at
either service, with Church school and nursery available at both. If you
prefer your children to remain with you in church, they will be very welcome.
The service is usually Holy Communion incorporating the richness of Anglican
ceremony and tradition as found in the Book of Alternative Services, and
generally runs for a little more than one hour. At the 11:00am service only,
we offer the Sacrament of Healing for those with physical or spiritual needs
but participation in this sacrament is entirely optional. Several times a
year, the Sacrament of Baptism is added to one of the Sunday services.
- All baptized Christians including children (not just Anglicans) may come
to the altar to receive the consecrated bread and wine during the actual
communion, but if you are uncomfortable with this, you would be encouraged to
come forward for a personal blessing. Also, some people just receive the bread
but not the wine, which is fine. Simply remember the motto: "All Can: Some
Should: None Must".
- Although we pass the collection plate at each service, please let it "pass
you by" on your first visit. There is no need to feel embarrassed, as many of
our parishioners give to the church by other means and they do not put
anything on the plate either.
- Our two main choirs (Youth and Adult) lead the music and alternate between
the 9:15am and 11:00am services on a monthly basis. The music is generally
traditional Anglican hymns and anthems. Every six weeks or so, our Folk Music
group (Trinity Unplugged) leads the music at both services with a more
contemporary flavour. Periodically, the main choirs are joined by our parish
orchestra or handbell choirs.
- We gather after each service for a cup of coffee and fellowship.
Service times can vary
Please note that service times usually change during the summer and around
Christmas and Easter. To confirm service times, check out the
Worship Services page.
Kids Programmes
Children ages 3 to Grade 8 can begin the 9:15am and 11:00am services in Church
School located downstairs in the parish hall. They'll rejoin their parents in
church just before Communion. Babies and Toddlers are also welcome, as we have a
nursery downstairs equipped and staffed at both the 9:15am and 11:00am services.
If you prefer, your children can remain with you in church for the whole
service - and don't worry that you will be unable to take them out if, for
example, they need a washroom. There is always a bit of "coming and going"
during the services and nobody worries about it.
