Judith Walton -
Fourth Sunday in Lent
Being Ambassadors
The fourth sermon in the 2010 Lenten series was delivered by
Judith Walton, the Diocesan Coordinator for the Ambassadors of
Reconciliation [Diocese of Toronto] which is a group of people
that will go out and listen to the stories of our indigenous
citizens, to learn about their values, their culture, and their
spirituality and
also to hear of the pain as they recount their painful history in
residential schools. For it is in telling these stories that
understanding leads to wisdom and wisdom leads to healing.

March 2010 Rev'd Stephen Kern -
Fifth Sunday in Lent
A Spirituality of Reconciliation
The fifth and final sermon in the 2010 Lenten series was
delivered by The Rev'd Stephen Kern. He briefly summarized what we
had heard over the previous four weeks and then asked, "What
should we do?". One key point that he addressed was that we should
not feel guilt for something we had no control over. This
reiterated the theme of his
10th January 2010 sermon
where he identified "irrational guilt" as a major stumbling block
to and the antithesis of becoming involved in meaningful service
to the community.
