This six-sermon programme in early 2010 addressed an individual's spiritual journey as it interacts with various other aspects of life. The focus was on avoiding the ditches on either side of the road.
Topics covered were:

  • 10th January 2010  Rev'd Stephen Kern -  The Baptism of the Lord
    Community service

    The Rev'd Stephen Kern gave the first of a six-sermon series about the ups and downs of the spiritual journey. Today, he discussed avoiding the twin ditches of apathy and irrational guilt in our spiritual journey as we move forward responding to God's calling to work justice.

    Faith in a multicultural world

    The Rev'd Canon Dawn Davis and The Rev'd Terry Weller (an interfaith minister) jointly presented the homily today. Continuing the "Ups and Downs of the Spiritual Journey" series, today's sermon addresses our faith in a multicultural world, including strategies for interacting with those of other faiths.

    relationships with other people. She brings the Holy Trinity into the discussion as an example of these relationships.
